Physicochemical Properties
MX is a mixture of p-Xylene, OX, m-Xylene and ethylbenzene. Its relative density (d420) is about 0.86, flash point is 27.2-46.1℃.Color and form: a colorless transparent liquid. Solubility: soluble in ethanol and ether, insoluble in water. Good dissolution in water upon visual inspection at room temperature (18-25℃).
Purposes
MX is a mixture of p-Xylene, OX, m-Xylene and ethylbenzene. When it is used as a chemical raw material, the various isomers can be isolated in advance. The mixture is primarily used as a paint solvent and aviation gasoline additive.
